It wasn't worth the $1.49 or whatever I paid for it. I had it for a day and deleted it from my kindle.
future kindle (2008-11-18)great little guide packed full of useful information, but the best part in my opinion is all the discussion of the future of the Kindle, easy to follow writting style
Author's Note: (2008-10-07)**FLASH 10/16 ** As an EXTRA, This book now includes FOUR TOTALLY Amazing Free Bonus Items. The Kindlefrog does it again! Here's a Kindle guide that's quite, quite different:
It's a VERY quick guide for new Kindle owners that absolutely won't drag you through long-winded writings. Much more concise than Amazon's own guide, it still covers most ALL the "best ways", tricks and extras that you need, or want to know.
These days, you'll see about 7 or 8 Kindle "guides", unexpurgators, decryptors, etc. in the Kindle store. Look for guides that are rated above 1000 in Kindle store sales - there are exactly two - Windwalker's and mine. Both are quite long reads; his covering the well known basics, plus extensive treatment on publishing your ebooks; mine doesn't focus on commercial publishing, but deeply explains every other thing you can do with, to, on, or about your Kindle, while being a little more humorous about it..
If you think you'll mostly buy and read books with your Kindle, maybe those aren't exactly your need, wondrous friendly books though they are. What could be handier for you is something that covers most, but not all of the key topics and best tips, but is precisely arranged for a quick scan or quick lookup. This one does that.
Even better, it's not just a book, but a joyfully effective live browser aid, too - you can check a date, even make notes for that month; AND use built-in Kindle Click links to instantly visit websites you need - like your email, online calendar, or to get directions. And you don't have to mess around typing things in. Try the free sample (- you can't jump to the back detail in it, because samples are the first 3 pages only - but you'll get a good idea of the style and how it works.) The quarters fit!!! (2010-04-07)My kids are collecting all of the coins. This is the first folder we have found that doesn't drive us crazy trying to get them in the slot. They fit perfectly!
Author: Robert S. McGee
In Robert McGee's best-selling book The Search for Significance, he helps readers realize the fact that they will never be content if they search for their significance in accomplishments or the o
YOU are significant. (2009-05-30)This study is wonderful for helping you change your view of yourself by shifting from the world view to God's view. The journal is a tool which should be used in conjunction with the bible study.
Redefining "self esteem" (2007-05-07)A very good tool in helping one to see God's love and his purpose for our lives. The Devotional Guide recommends reading the book, but it can be done alone if desired. Each lesson takes 15-20 minutes and is well-worth the time.
Awesome! (2007-03-12)This book reveals the damaging lies we believe and shows you the true source of self worth and self confidence.
The Search for Significance (2006-08-24)This is an amazing read and will open your eyes to your inner self. It will assist you in breaking down the barriers you have put up since childhood. It will give you a new outlook on yourself and others and how you perceive things. Definitely a read that will be beneficial to anyone who is searching...
The devotional is a daily regime of hope. (2004-10-14)I was lost then I was found. God answered my prayers and put this book into my life. Dr. Robert McGee's books continually inspire me to become closer to God. What I love about this devotional is the everyday process of mending my relationship with God. With many books I was unable to see the progress that I was making; however, this book let me easily see where I started and the path I was taking.

Bonus CD-ROM included! Recognizing that men and women face unique spiritual needs, these 365 convenient, concise, and uplifting devotionals help readers focus each day on God's priorities. Each day
Excellent book (2008-01-23)This is an excellent book. It does help in my morning readings. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to start their day off in God's word.
Start every day with a few moments with GOD ! (2007-07-06)Thsi is the first book from Stewart Brisco. This was given to me by my pastor and I recomend this for every man who needs to take time every
day to spend quiet time and get closer to GOD.
W.R. Baker, Dallas, GA.
The devotional I've found yet (2003-12-24)This is by far the best devotional I've found yet. I have search for a devotional that mixes a scripture reading with insightful application and had been fairly unsuccessful until now. I have been reading this daily on my Pocket PC and completely love it. There are times I want to call all my friends to tell them about what I've read. I have been a Christian for many years and have solid understanding of the word. Taking that into account, I don't know how great it would be for a new/baby Christian. Nonetheless, I have tried many devotionals and this is my favorite by far!
Excellent Book (2002-11-04)This is an excellent devotional; concise, yet rich. I have not read the whole thing, but what I have read so far as quickened my heart for God and inspired me to live a more Godly life. I particularly like the readers on the CD.

A Kindle compatible Calendar for your Kindle 2 that covers April 2009 through end of 2010.
1.One Month per Page View. Nicely Formatted Table Like View.
2.A cover page you can use as an at-a-glance calendar for the next 8 months.
3.Ability to add a note or highlight to any date - very few calendars have this.
4.Bolded Dates, Days and Month Names for improved visibility.
5.Formatting and Month View works in all Font Sizes.
6.Federal Holidays Included.
7.Every Page links to Table of contents (click on ‘April-2009′ to go to TOC).
8.Optimized for easy navigation and tested on Kindle2.
9.Small size of just 73 Kb. No Big Images to eat up your Kindle 2/Kindle space.
Also, if you have a reasonable demand, I'll make changes you ask for and upload a new version.
The Brief Guide -
You can circle through the pages and add notes for any date. You also have a table of contents and every month links to it (via the month name) for quick navigation.
Due to the Kindle 2's nature there are some limitations. You cna only see your notes when you select one or your cursor is centered on one. In the absence of that you will only see a number marking that there is a note.
There is no daily planner.
There is no included journal.
There is no Yearly View.
There are no individual pictures for every month (mostly to save space and keep things simple).
There is no table for a month's dates. This is because a table prevents accessing individual days.
At the core it is a basic and effective calendar. That's why it's $1. I'll make improvements that are reasonable and doable given the Kindle 2's limitations.
Please Note: This is not tested on Kindle 1. I don't recommend buying it for Kindle 1 as it might not work.

Great value. Good calendar. (2009-12-13)This is a good, basic calendar for the Kindle. Nothing tricky. It does everything the author says it will do. It's just what I was looking for.
Author: Editors of Chase's Calendar of Events
The world's datebook for more than 50 years Chase's Calendar of Events 2009, is your authoritativeguide to special occurrences, holidays, anniversaries, celebrity birthdates, religious observances, sporting events, and more from around the world. Librarians, marketers, journalists, and other professionals have come to rely on it to find out what's going on that day, in a week, or even a year ahead. Do you want to know when Barbie's 50th birthday is (March 9)? Where you can find celebrations of Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday? When is Shameless Promotion Month (September)? What activities can your family enjoy at the Southern Appalachian Dulcimer Festival (May 2)? When will there be a total eclipse of the sun (July 22)? All these questions and more are answered in Chase's Calendar of Events.
A great resource (2009-07-17)This is a resource book that every marketing needs to see. Build all kinds of advertising and promotions around this resource!
A Must Have for Marketers, Retailers, Speakers and Bloggers (2008-11-26)Imagine always having something new and interesting to write or talk about. Every day of the year!
This book gives you that amazing ability, no matter how tongue tied or writer's cramped you are.
Every day you have a selection of subjects that are as topical as possible - after all they are all about today. If you are planning any event at all - you will always have a reason with this valuable resource (National Muffin Day Celebration).
For a blogger or web copywriter - this is like a box of gold.
How much is it worth to never be at a loss when you need to get out some copy? For me, way more than the reasonable investment of this book.
When is "I love this book" week? (2008-10-28)It's great fun finding oddball days and weeks to celebrate in Chase's Calendar of Events. This is invaluable for libraries and radio stations. Besides telling you when National BBQ Day is, it also gives a few details about various holidays. I can't count the number of times I used this book during my years as a librarian. Often the information can't be found anywhere else.
I haven't tried the CD-ROM but imagine it would be convenient looking things up on Chase's using the computer. The book is well-indexed, so it's easy to use.

A weekly planner with the option to add entries for various times of the day, set daily aims, set weekly aims, and a nice week at a view design.
On all font sizes you can see one week on a page.
Warning: This weekly planner cannot work beyond the kindle's limitations and does not show your notes unless you hover over them.
This is just a .Mobi document based on simple html and not a program.
Its a very basic planner. However, it uses the Kinel 2's features well.
Its tested only on Kindle 2.

Doesn't work (2010-01-18)I have the original Kindle, if this is suppose to be hyperlink text it doesn't work. If not I'm not sure what it is, for a dollar I'm not going to ask for money back..
More entry options than straight calendar planners. (2010-01-01)Compared to the Daily Journay and the Calendar Planners which allow only one entry per day -- this one has some expanded options that could be helpful for people really trying to track appointments, planning and events in their Kindle. It is important to accept the designer's honestly admitted limitations.
There are no initial instructions. It begins with a Table of Contents listing each month in 2009 and 2010. It seems faster to me to search for the month I am interested in.
Next it opens a page with days listed (for January 2010 the first week only has 2 days in it) -- consistent with calendar organization. The most versatile feature is that has multiple points at which notes (suprascripted) can be added in a potentially organized way.
For Example: (image of 1st week of January 2010) shows that it includes the dates of 1st - 2nd. There are individual lines and places given to attach up to 3 aims for the week and a brief review note. Below that is line for the specific date (such as Friday the 1st) with places to attach a note based on 8 time periods during the day. Finally there is a place to attach note for 3 important dates and 3 important appointments during each week.
It will take some getting used to, but is definitely more flexible for the added user notes than Daily Journal (Create and save your own personal notes with your Kindle!) or Kindle Calendar for Year 2010 (United States) - Includes all National Holidays, Various Ethnic and Religious Celebrated Occasions - Free Lifetime Updates. The latter has a clearly different nitch though -- and one of its stronger features is having information on the holidays -- to which one could add an extra user note if relevant.
Kindle Weekly Planner 2009-2010 (2009-11-21)I brought the Kindle Weekly Planner 2009-2010. The problem that I am having is there is no written intructions on how to use it. I've followed Amazons intructions to contact iReaderReview, but there is no contact or email information. If I can't get the item to work, I'll have no option but to return it for a refund.
Author: Moleskine
The Moleskine 18 Month Weekly Notebook, soft cover large, is dated from July 2009 to December 2010. Formatted to show the week's appointments on the left and a ruled page for notes and ideas on the right, this popular planner style is perfect for students and professionals.
This Moleskine planner is thread bound and has a soft cover with rounded corners, acid free paper, a bookmark, an elastic closure and an expandable inner pocket that contains the Moleskine history.
Perfect! (2009-09-14)This is the best planner I have ever owned. Perfect amount of space for writing each day, beautiful pages, and plenty of blank pages to jot down extra things. The leather covers are beautiful and classic.
Moleskine Academic Weekly Notebook July 2009 - December 2010 18 Month Soft Black Large (Moleskine Srl) (2009-09-08)I love this planner. Big spaces on the days and a full page for notes or my many to do lists! I highly rec any Moleskine product because they more than live up to their name!
Great planner (2009-08-29)I had previously had a school year planner, so this planner was a perfect transition to a yearly one. The planner is pretty sturdy, and there is plenty of space to write.
Amazing! (2009-08-01)It is the prefect size to actually fit information and details for a variety of tasks, while still small enough to fit in my purse. Its set-up is perfect for planning and taking notes or jotting down ideas in the same place!
An excellent tool for time management (2009-07-04)For me, at least.
I need a paper planner for a number of reasons, but the most important to me is that I'm a tactile kind of person and like to hold the book not look at a screen, and that the act of writing helps me remember appointments and tasks where typing does not.
The seven days of the week on one side and a lined page on the other is the best format for me. I have relatively few appointments, but many tasks per week that go on the lined page.
I've had Moleskine products with the soft cover, and they are OK for light use, but I carry and use a planner almost constantly. This lost the planner a half a star. Regardless, the hard cover stands up to this use better.
Other planners have the address book that slips into the pocket in back. I miss that, and that is what lost this product the rest of that star.
The pocket size (3.5 in by 5.5 in)just doesn't have enough space, and if I cram it, the writing is too hard on the eyes. This one, the large book is about 8 in by 5 in, and much more comfortable to write in and read, while not being excessively bulky.
The spare blank pages, the year overview calendar, and the pocket inside the back cover are above and beyond what I expect in a planner, but I have grown accustomed to them and use them regularly.
Excellent tool, and I recommend it to anyone who prefers (or might prefer) a physical rather than virtual planner.

quick clear and handy (2010-03-09)this is a handy little book. clear, concise info in calendar format with room for notes
It's OK (2010-02-08)This could be so much nicer. It's way too small and doesn't have enough space to plan. Amazon should post the size. I gave it as a gift and it disappointed.
Necessary Tool (2010-01-11)Thank you for getting everything needed in this pocket guide. It is exactly the what is needed whn you are busy.
2010 Astrology Guide (2009-07-09)Keeps me on track of cycles of the moon and the planets. Good for a daily note, small enough to tuck into a pocket or bag, I alway try and order well before the new year....so I am always ahead of the game!
If, your interested in Astrology, Moon cycles...you will love this daily diary.

It's just a diary (2010-01-09)I thought it is a new novel. But it is actually a diary of 2009.
mistake (2009-12-25)I thought this was a book ... It is a date book and I got it very late in the year. I would read anything this guy wrote. But this was a big mistake
Deceptive! (2008-12-15)I pre-ordered this thinking it was some sort of diary written by Murakami but when it arrived I found it was just a silly Murakami-themed diary. I am a big fan of Murakami, and it is a bit sad to see this type of misleading marketing associated to his work.
Beautiful (2008-12-03)I received this diary today and fell in love with it. It is beautifully designed using Murakami's words and many images inspired by his work. This is a must have for any Murakami fan and a beautiful piece of introduction for all who are not familiar with his work.
A great way to greet the new year (2008-11-28)I would have thought 2009 Diary would have served as a clue that this is a day book, but in it one finds many passages and a wonderful array of images that will endear this book to any Murakami fan and even those who never heard of him before. The most beautiful part about this journal is that it will fit into most any coat pocket and even the smallest of hand bags so that you can take it with you to remind yourself of important dates or simply leaf through the lovely pages while sipping a cup of latte or espresso at a coffee shop.
