very disapointed (2010-08-14)I havethe other calandars from over the years and have made some beautiful wall hangings and loved the calandar, this one is a waste of time for the printed.Have not been so dissapointed, hope she does not do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disappointed!!!! (2010-07-21)DISAPPOINTED!! I have the last eight cross stitch pattern-a-day calendars. I have always loved them. However, the 2011 calendar is HORRIBLE. The box is very cheaply made, it is smaller (doesn't line up with the others on a shelf), patterns are for very tiny projects, and only a fracture of the patterns of years past. It is a HUGE disappointment after looking forward to receiving it.

Scrapbook stickers 2010 (2010-04-13)I did not like the 2010 scrapbook stickers. I preferred the clear background of the 2009 stickers rather than the opaque ones of this year. The box was cheap quality, too. Luckily I had saved last year's box and threw away the new one. I don't plan to buy next year's calendar unless they revert back to the previous style.
I buy this every year! (2010-02-27)THis sticker a day calentar is great, ive been buying this every year for the last 5 years. Its very new every time, has different stickets and loooots of stickers for holidays. The only thing new this year, that i didn't quiet enjoy, is that the stickers are not see through. they have a pink, light blue or white background. But the graphics are way better than last year.
enjoy!
Great stickers (2010-02-07)The stickers are great, it is the way they are presented that lack a bit. Last year I got as a gift the border calendar. I was a bit taken back when I got this calendar. It was smaller and the box it is quite different. It took some time to make it stand up. I like it, but I would have liked if it was more like last year's border calendar.
Great product for Scrapbooker's (2010-01-25)This is a great product if you do Scrapbooks. I got the calendar last year and had fun using the stickers for my scrapbook pages. Could not find it in any of the stores I shop this year so I had to order it on line. I will look forward to next years calendar and hope you have one.
Happy Journal (2009-12-23)This will be the 4th year that I have used the sticker for a day product. Do I use them in my scrapbooks? No...but they have made writing in my journal so much more fun. I still hand write my journals, so this gives the eye something else to look at when going back through the pages.
If my posterity ever really reads my journals, I hope that they will see that I like to have fun in all I did...and was not just caught up in the daily task of living.

advice from a 7 yr old expert (2010-02-25)Our Grandson was given a copy of I Love to Draw and found it fascinating.
After learning to draw different figures he learned how to add them all together
to make a whole scene. Noticing his deep attention to a book his sister decided
she might like one of her own having given up on him ever sharing the book.
She not only requested the book but also requested a drawing pad, color markers,
drawing pencils and something to keep them all together. With a eye and mind
like that I think she might end up an executive rather than an artist, but she
will always have art in her life.
Wow! What A Good Book For The Whole Family (2010-02-11)I bought this book for my 5 year old grand-daughter and I used it more than she does. The instructions are easy to follow and my drawings look really good. My family can't believe that I have created at least 5 drawings. This book is a real ego booster for kids, in addition to
teaching them how organize their thoughts.
A Great Resource for Cultivating Real Artistic Skill (2009-08-21)This book, written by an artist and art teacher, provides a very nice introduction to the skill of drawing, with step-by-step line instructions for drawing people, underwater animals, various foods, animals, dinosaurs, and other things. This book helps young artists discern the underlying shapes of objects they are trying to represent, and the results of these exercises (depending on execution) may closely approach realistic drawing. The book is one in a series of more specialized drawings as well as other mediums. Not an indispensable addition to the home library, but a great choice for cultivating real artistic skill in young children.
Deaf Mom (2008-05-21)My six year son, who has mildly autism, got a birthday book from his grandmother. This is an excellent book for him because he still needs to work on drawing a picture. With this book, he is able to follow the directions easily. After he finished a picture for me from the book, I felt that he did one of his drawing pictures. In fact, it was a perfect timing before he needs to include his picture for his Direct Writing Assessment next week.
I highly would recommend for any children who needs to work on creating the pictures. Even better, any kids can surprise their teacher with their homework project.
I surely hope on the next book II would include: pictures of classroom supplies (pencils, books, board, desk, chairs), house furnitures and zoo animals.
I Love to Draw! (2008-01-24)Excellent book!! Both my five and nine year old daughters love it! It's the favorite in my eldest daughters class and it has increased their artistic skills tremendously! It's so easy to learn from that I can even draw!
